YMCA Trivandrum Sesquicentenary Valedictory Function was conducted on 7th November2023. Shri. Arif Mohammed Khan, Hon'ble Governor of Kerala inaugurated the function. Most Rev Dr. M. Soosa Pakiam, (Archbishop Emerit Latin Archdiocese of Trivandrum) delivered the blessing message. Shri. Jose Nettikadan (Chairman, YMCA Kerala Region) and Shri. YMCA Trivandrum Election 2023-24 was conducted on 11 November 2023. Prof. Alex Thomas was elected as the President and Mr. Bency V Thomas as the Vice President. The following 5 members were elected as the Board of Directors Mr. Prakash Idiculla, Dr. Paul Samuel, Mr. David Gainneos, Dr. Thomas Philip and Mr. Lino Abraham Benoy (Under 40).

This year’s YMCA-YWCA Week of prayer was conducted from 12 – 18 November 2023. Dr V P Joy (Former Chief Secretary, Govt. of Kerala) Inaugurated the week of Prayer and delivered the message on 12 November 2023. Rt. Rev.Dr.Christudas R (Auxiliary Bishop, Trivandrum Archdiocese), Rt.Rev.Dr.Joseph Bernabas (Suffragan Metropolitan), Rev. Dr. J W Prakash (Immanuel CSI Kallayam,Gen. Convenor KCC Clergy commission), Rev.Dr. Philip George (Vicar, St. Thomas Mar Thoma Syrian church, Pattoor),Mrs.R Nandhini IPS (DIG of Police, Trivandrum) and Fr. George Varghese (Vicar, Mar Aprem Orthodox Syrian Church, Kowdiar)were the speakers of week of prayer. The first 4 days of the prayer was conducted at the YMCA and the remaining 3 days prayer was conducted at YWCA.

YMCA Christmas programme of Carols was conducted on December 3, 2023, at Kottackattu Convention Centre, Nalanchira. Mar Thomas Tharayil (Auxiliary Bishop of Changanassery) was the Chief Guest. In honour of Bhima Jewellery, which is approaching its 100th anniversary, M.S. Suhas, Managing Director, received a felicitation. Trivandrum YMCA Choir and Choirs of Ebenezer Mar Thomas Church, Peroorkada, Salem Mar Thoma Church, Vazhuthacaud, St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church Pattoor, CSI Mateer Memorial Church Palayam, St. Pauls Mar Thoma Church, Vattiyoorkavu, Immanuel Mar Thoma Church, Paruthippara; CSI Church, Peroorkada, Jerusalem Mar Thoma Church Nanthencode, St. Peter’s Jacobite Simhasana Cathedral Punnen Road, St. George Orthodox Cathedral Palayam, and St. Gregorios Orthodox Church Nanthencode performed during the function.YMCA Trivandrum President Prof. Alex Thomas, Spiritual Programme Committee Chairman Dr. Thomas Philip, Rev. Aneesh T. Varghese, Rev. Anith S. Stephan, and General Secretary Shaji James also spoke on the occasion.
