YMCA Trivandrum Sesquicentenary Valedictory Function was conducted on 7th November2023. Shri. Arif Mohammed Khan, Hon'ble Governor of Kerala inaugurated the function. Most Rev Dr. M. Soosa Pakiam, (Archbishop Emerit Latin Archdiocese of Trivandrum) delivered the blessing message. Shri. Jose Nettikadan (Chairman, YMCA Kerala Region) and Shri. Reji George (Treasurer, National Council of YMCAs of India) also attended the function. During the function YMCA Trivandrum honored Mr. George Jacob Muthoot, Dr. Yoonus, Dr. P. Krishnakumar and Mr. Sreekumaran Thampi with ‘150th Anniversary Gold medal’ for their valuable contribution to YMCA Trivandrum.

As part of the Sesquicentenary Celebrations, YMCA Trivandrum gave marriage aid to 5 bridegroom, education scholarship to the students and medical assistance to 40 needy people on 7 November 2023. Shri. Antony Raju (Transport Minister of Kerala) was the Chief Guest. Dr. N. Jayaraj MLA (Chief Whip, Member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly), Janab Dr. V P Suhaib Moulavi (Palayam Imam), Swami Ashwathi Thirunal (Madathipathi Ekalavyasramam),Very Rev Thomas John Ramban, Mr. Jose Nettikadan, Reji George and Adv. Idicula Zachariah offered felicitations on the occasion.
