On December 6, 2023, in connection with the Christmas-New Year celebration, a massive star was hoisted at the Youth Centre Vettinad. The Christmas message was given by Mr. John G. Kottara, the chairman of the Youth Centre Vettinad committee.
As part of Christmas programs Senior citizen committee of YMCA Trivandrum started Christmas carol rounds from 4th to 14th December 2023. They covered sixty senior member’s homes in total.
Christmas celebrations 2023 was conducted at Rural Development center, Aruvikkara on 17th December 2023. Smt. Merin Joseph IPS (Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch, Trivandum) inaugurated the function. Smt. R. Kala (President, Aruvikkara Grama Panchayath), Smt. Mariyakutty (Standing committee chairperson) and Sri. Vijayan Nair (Block Panchayath member), Sri.Jothi Sathianess (Chairman, RDC Aruvikkara committee) and Sri.Shaji James (General Secretary, YMCA Trivandrum) also spoke on the occassion.
‘ഹർഷം – 2023’ Christmas & New Year celebration was conducted at Youth Center Vettinad on 27th December 2023. Vembayam Panchayat President Beena Jayan inaugurated the function. Word to World Television Channel Director Br. Dr. Mathews Varghese gave the Christmas message. Malankara Church Vicar Fr. Wilson Cherian Thattaruthundil, Vettinad Youth Center Chairman Sri. John G. Kottara, Block Panchayat Member Smt. Beena Ajith, Salvation Army Church Lieutenant Sri. Sunil, Ward Member Smt. Prabhakumari, General Secretary Sri. Shaji's James also spoke on the occasion.
As part of Christmas program YMCA Trivandrum and Crescendo choir jointly organized a Christmas Musical Eve name “Breath of Heaven” on 30th December 2023. Rev. Jijo P Sunny (Principal, Mar Thoma Central School, Varkala) delivered Christmas message.
