Hi-Y committee of YMCA Trivandrum and Light House (CET 1987-91 Alumni association) jointly started a new project name “Good Parenting”. Writer and Speaker Dr. Kayamkulam Yoonus inaugurated the new project at Salvation Army HSS, Kowdiar on 30 th January 2024. Renowned personality development coach and Meta skill Neuropsychologist Dr. Mathew Varghese is the coach of this new initiative. YMCA President Prof. Alex Thomas, Light house executive member Mr. Philip V T, YMCA Vice President and Hi-Y committee Chairman Mr. Bency V Thomas, Treasurer Mr. David Gainneos. Salvation Army school Principal Smt. Meera M S, PTA President Mr.Muralidharan B and Education Secretary Major.V B Silus also attended the function.

Public health and Social Service committee of YMCA Trivandrum in association with Snehita Women's Health foundation and in partnership with the Indian Medical Association and the Indian Dental Association conducted the World Cancer Day Public programme on 4 February 2024 at YMCA Trivandrum. World Cancer Day talk, Panel Discussions, Early detection camp for oral cancer and Vaccination for Cervical Cancer prevention were conducted as part of the program.

Senior citizen welfare committee of YMCA Trivandrum released "വാഗ്ദത്ത ഭൂമിയിലൂടെ" a travelogue of Trivandrum YMCA's first ever Holy land pilgrimage tour written by Mr. Titus Philip (YMCA Member) on 8th February 2024.
